TV journalist Jacque Maribe and her fiancé Joseph Irungu aka Jowie will remain in custody until October 24.
Judge James Wakiaga asked the two to report back in court on Wednesday for the mention of the murder case.
“We will hear the application on from 11.30am,” Wakiaga said.
The judge said if need be, the accused may submit any supplementary affidavits before the date.
Maribe wanted the court to release her to take care for her four-year-old son.
The two have denied killing businesswoman Monica Kimani on September 19 at Lamuria Gardens Apartments.
Monica’s body was found deposited in a bathtub, throat slashed and hands tied to the back.
However, in a bail application through lawyer Katwa Kigen, Maribe says she is innocent in the eyes of the law.
She adds that there is no evidence showing she was involved in the murder, hence, it would be unfair to keep her in custody.
