President Uhuru Kenyatta has expressed shock over the news that there were no survivors found at the crash site of the missing plane.
The President said he was deeply saddened and his administration will offer any assistance needed to the families of those who perished in the plane crash.
“They can be assured that there will be a full review of our procedures so that we can understand how this tragedy happened,” he said in a statement sent to newsrooms on Thursday.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the families at this time of grief,” President Kenyatta added.
The Cesna aircraft with Reg. No 5y CAC had 8 passengers and two female crew.
The missing plane was found after a search that took almost 48 hours and had to be called off twice owing to poor weather conditions.
