Twenty-two Members of County Assembly from Transzoia County were today arrested by EACC detectives.
The MCAs are among 41 others who are said to have taken Sh3.8 million from the county assembly illegally and allocated themselves to attend the burial of one of their colleague who died in 2014.
According to EACC officials the allocation were illegal. The MCAs have been arraigned in court.
