Limuru MP Peter Mwathi has called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to name the full Cabinet to end tension and speculation in the country.
The legislator also said inclusion of opposition leaders in the Cabinet would be a disappointment to Jubilee supporters.
Mwathi urged the President to only consider appointing leaders from the opposition strongholds who supported his re-election.
“The President needs to include politicians who campaigned for him in his Cabinet, not those who campaigned for the opposition,” the MP said.
He said opposition leaders who cost the country a lot of money by going to the Supreme Court to petition against the President’s victory in the August 8 election should not be given positions in the government.
