Human rights activists are now pointing an accusing finger at police over the suspected cases of extra-judicial killings which has seen bodies been dumped in Naivasha.
This comes barely two days after two men were found murdered and dumped in Mai Mahiu and Gilgil towns respectively in two different incidents.
In both cases, the victims had ropes around their necks raising fears that they were strangled elsewhere and the bodies ferried to the scenes.
Last month, the bodies of a couple said to be in the list of terror suspects were found also dumped off the Naivasha-Mai Mahiu road after going missing for over two months.
According to one of the activists Wilson Wambugu, no person had been arrested for the killings which mainly targeted men.
Addressing the press in Naivasha after visiting the area mortuary, Wambugu from Peoples Power Watch (PPW) said that in all the cases the victims did not have any identification documents.
“We have received reports from parents over their missing kin and we are visiting various mortuaries along the highway to establish the number of bodies brought in by police,” he said.
Wambugu noted that in all the facilities that they had visited starting with Chiromo mortuary majority of the bodies had not been identified.
