Motorists can now breathe a sigh of relief after the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) announced a marginal drop in fuel prices for the second month in a row.
ERC has reduced the price of Super Petrol by Ksh 1.64 per litre in Nairobi, Diesel by Ksh 2.43 per litre and Kerosene by Ksh 2.48 per litre in the capital starting midnight tonight for the next one month.
A litre of Super Petrol will now retail at Ksh 97.10 per litre in the city, that of Diesel will retail at Ksh 84.46 per litre while a litre of Kerosene will now retail at Ksh 62.56.
Oiemeke has also said the strengthening of the Kenyan Shilling also led to the marginal drop.
