Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has dismissed as “sheer propaganda” claims that his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) was forged and therefore unauthentic.
On Sunday, the saga into Joho’s academic credentials resurfaced after Mombasa Jubilee branch led by deputy governor aspirant Ananiah Mwaboza, produced documents allegedly obtained from the Kenya National Examinations Council indicating the governor may have forged a Form Four results slip to obtain university admission.
Mwaboza asked the offices of Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and Inspector General of Police to launch fresh investigations into Joho’s academic qualifications citing anomalies in his certificates.
