It is a sigh of relief for Kapseret MP Oscah Sudi’s supporters after Jubilee Party accepted his application papers in his bid for re-election on the party’s ticket.
This was confirmed by first time law maker who said he will be seeking the party ticket in the JP primaries slated for April despite a court case he is facing over alleged forged academic papers.
“My party accepted my application papers and I will be seeking reelection on JP ticket in August 8 polls,” assured Sudi. Addressing hundreds of his supporters at Ngeria Bridge during the opening of a road linking Ngeria prison and Eldoret highway, Sudi said there should be no cause for worry over his fate in regards to the forthcoming general election.
Sudi executed confidence that he would overcome the alleged forgery of academic papers case that he claimed was threatening to curtail his political career. “I confident that I will overcome all the obstacles that have been placed on my way and move on with life,” said Sudi.
This comes in wake of his appearance in a Nairobi court last year October where he was charged with three counts of forging his academic certificates when he was seeking nomination during the 2013 elections.
