Kenya records 957 more COVID-19 cases recorded from a sample of 5,559 tested in 24 hours 18th Wednesday.
Nairobi remains the epicenter registering highest caseload at 368, Nyeri second at 53.
A total of 2,616 patients have recovered from corona-virus 2,434 among them under home-based care raising the total recoveries to 49,878 since April.
A total of 1,191 patients admitted in hospitals, 6,000 others on home care
In the last 24 hours, 11 mired Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded raising the fatalities to 1,313 since April.
From the new cases reported on Wednesday, 908 are Kenyans while 49 are foreigners.
In terms of gender, 569 are males while 388 are females and the youngest is a two-month-old infant and the oldest is 94- years- old.
