Baringo senator Gideon Moi has supported the ongoing disarmament in the county saying that if stun action will not be taken their will be increase loss of lives and destruction of property.
Moi said that law and order must be restored in the county and those perpetrating the conflict must be arrested and brought to book.
He said though the government has taken long to act the move is commendable and this will help closed schools in the county to be reopened.
Embu Governor Martin Wambora has assured Baringo Senator Gideon Moi of the support of Embu people in his 2022 political ambitions.
Speaking when he accompanied Moi to a conference of secondary school heads from Baringo County at Izaak Walton Hotel in Embu County yesterday, Wambora said Moi was a popular leader even in Embu.
He said that Embu people owe Gideon a lot and they will be behind him on his presidential ambitions come 2022.
Dishing glowing accolades to the Baringo Senator for standing with him when he was impeached twice in 2014, Wambora said Moi by voting against the two impeachments motion at the Senate had shown he has the interests of Embu people at heart.
