Superfoam Limited hosted an annual thanksgiving event on February, 23, in their factory premises. The full day event sought to create a platform for social interaction among her employees under the theme Superfoam Got Talent.
“Each year we organize an event like this to facilitate the creation of an environment where our employees interact with each other and do activities that are out of their normal duties thus breaking monotony of lifestyles. Additionally, we get the chance to recognize and appreciate them for their unwavering service delivery to the company. In one way or another, we also get to know the talents and strengths of our staff beyond job duties,” said Sanskrati Shetty- Marketing Manager, Superfoam Limited.
During the event, three employees received accolades for their twenty-five year service to the company. The epitome of the party was prizes given to the participants of the event. The second runners up spot had two participants tying and were awarded Kshs. 5,000/- each. The first runners up received an award of Kshs. 10,000/- cash and the grand prize winner received 20,000 cash.
Samuel Kamau, a creative who makes alternative power using magnets and magnetic fields, noted with joy and the importance of re-union events.
“I am pleased to participate and showcase my creativity to my colleagues. It is through such activities that we rejuvenate, have fun and identify with alternative creativity outside the office.”
In December 2017, Superfoam Limited hosted a similar event under the theme Superfoam Revolution where the company employees participated in a modelling and fashion designing competition.
