Narok West Member of Parliament Patrick Ole Ntutu, who is also eyeing Narok county governorb seat, has given assurance to communities living in the county that August elections will be peaceful.
Speaking at Muthurua Market in Narok North Constituency, Ntutu called on communities that have moved to Narok to exercise their right to vote adding that no one would be deprived their right due to ethnic lines.
He stated that all communities need to embrace one another as violence is never a solution.
The aspiring governor called on electorates to be confident and vote within Narok County instead of moving back to their rural homes.
Maasai elder Salau Ole Karkar also insisted that the past post poll violence’s had instilled fear to communities but now the communities will vote together in peace.
He rubbished claims that there will be violence in Narok adding that as leaders they have always called for peace. Karkar called on the communities to vote in peace.
