Former Directorate of Criminal Investigations boss Ndegwa Muhoro has been nominated Kenya’s ambassador to Malaysia, while State House spokesperson Manoah Esipisu is set to represent the country in the United Kingdom.
President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday forwarded names of nine nominee ambassadors to represent the country in different foreign missions to Parliament. The list also included the names of Dr. Francis O. Owino (Youth) and Ms. Esther Koimet (Transport) who were appointed as Permanent Secretaries.
Former chairperson of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) Ms. Sarah Serem has been nominated as Kenya’s envoy to China while Lt. Gen. Samuel Thuita, the former Kenya Air Force Commander has been tapped to move to Israel.
Last week, President Kenyatta made a reshuffle in his Cabinet and nominated the nine as ambassadors but did not state where each will be stationed.
